Arizona has separate licence boards for doctors with MD after their names, doctors with DO, nurses and physician assistants, as of October 3, 2026.

A board is the state office that checks licences. Ask which letters follow the person’s name and which board holds their licence. Search for their full name.

Arizona allows many exams before prescribing to happen through telehealth, or care from a distance, as of October 3, 2026.

That does not mean every medicine or every visit can be handled online.

The person treating you must decide whether an online visit can meet your needs or you need to see them in person, as of October 3, 2026.
